And…Brett, he just kicked butt in the Front Range 50 Mile Mtn bike race. He lead most of the race and ended up with an awful cramp on the last lap. He was able to push through it and ended up second. He is the HOTTIE in the black jacket.

It’s summertime, which means skiing at MT HOOD! Our first K2 test was a huge success and a lot of fun!
There is SO MUCH snow at Hood. 2008 was their best snow year in 30 years. Not that it really matters, the snow is super hard due to warm temps during the day and cold temps at night. Great for testing skis!

Kamp K2 was so much fun. Mt Baker, in WA is an amazing mountain with terrain that will challenge even the strongest skier. It was one big playground with complete isolation from reality.

For me, this time of the year brings PARTYING! I love the Fall, time to relax, settle into the chillier weather and celebrate my birthday and Halloween. Although, this year, I partied hard enough on my birthday to last me the ENTIRE year. That said, I didn’t make it out for Halloween, however, Linds, Jon and Abby rallied to a few fun events in Boulder!
WOW. Does it get any better? When I was riding my bike today, I was listening to the crunch of the leaves under my tires, the Fall wind blowing, and realizing, that this must be HEAVEN! The Fall in Colorado is pretty amazing, especially when the peaks get some snow. Bright yellows, sweet smells and snowy peaks. So lucky.

my chiropractor and friend, jeremy, has come up with the most EFFICIENT way to travel with his kayak. he attaches a 25 ft trailer to his bike. imagine, driving down the street and seeing DUDE riding his bike with a big boat behind him. would you stop, roll down your window, and ask….”are you ok, man?” according to jeremy, this has already happened!
CRAZY, you ask?
not really….there are several reasons why jeremy can get away with this:
1.) he is VERY smart.
2.) he is VERY attractive.
3.) he is funny.
CAN YOU SAY MUDFEST? oh my. telluride was a MESS. mud and pouring rain. i guess that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger?
SOME PEOPLE prefer cars in their driveways, some people like toilets.

i would have to say that the one thing that REALLY irritates me about the EAST COAST is the mentality and lack of knowledge about organic foods.
i was in the grocery store yesterday, in the dairy isle. i was grabbing organic milk and i overheard a conversation next to me. it went like this, “i would prefer regular milk, i just do not like the taste of organic milk. ”
are you kidding me? do you really BELIEVE that it tastes different? and seriously, do you know what organic milk is?
my gut was telling me to say, “would you rather me just give you a shot in the butt of hormones?”
